“You can’t improve upon what you do not measure.” -Marc Ohmann This quote from my boss has stuck with me. Our company is built on measurable data. I truly do not have a job if there is not information out in the gigantic thing we call the Internet that we can measure. We use lots of different tools, like Google Analytics and our own measurement tool to figure out how well our Inbound Marketing efforts are working.
As I was making my rounds around the internet this morning, I found this great infographic explaining how Pinterest can be beneficial to your business. Up until now, I was having a hard time getting my head around how a company could use Pinterest to benefit their brand and increase awareness about who you are, what you do, how you do it, etc.
Technology is changing the way that we live our lives. With the advances in technology we are enabled to complete more tasks in less time, and often times, with less effort and more productivity. But with these abilities, our interactions with other people have drastically changed. We have this thing called “Social Networking” or “Social Media” that allows us to communicate with a much broader group of people, but at what cost.
