Health consumers make up a big percentage of online users.
Now that I think about it, I’d say that many of us have conducted some sort of Internet search concerning a health question or inquiry we’ve had.
Or at least I know that I have.
In the past I have gone in and out of intense exercise regimens as well as the dietary guidelines that company those. I’ve also searched symptoms that either I or someone close to me is experiencing.
We often times use the Internet as our first resource to try and diagnose an illness or ailment, and many websites help us do this. WebMD has been an established resource to help in the process of trying to figure out what might be going on for a long time.
These tools help us save money, time, and are often times much easier to do when compared to going into an Emergency Room or doctor’s office.
I’m not saying that you should only rely on Internet resources, but these things have become extremely valuable!
For a long time, healthcare professionals have wanted to know how people are engaging online, and that is what this infographic shows.
